Low power/MPG 2k max SE

I know everyone says to do a search, And I have.. repeatedly. I changed just about everything on this car, with good results.. For a few weeks.. then teh problem arises again!
2000 Max SE Auto 167k miles

I changed the MAF three times now, This last time getting the ECU flashed/updated
New Coils (Twice again) most recently being about 9 months ago along with NGK Plats
I did however throw one of the old Coils back in due to a defective one from Advanced Auto (Nissan Logos ground off, leading to believe they are from same supplier as stock OEM)
I also went ahead and did the fuel fliter in the tank, which smoothed it out a bit, but not much else..
Ive Sea Foamed it twice this year, as well as Cataclean once and lucas Injector cleaner two or three times.
However, Power is non existent, or at least not as powerfull and growly as these cars usually are, as if the engine is struggling to get to speed, although running smoothly..
Gas Mileage back in SEPTEMBER 2011 (300-330 a tank/ 15.5 gals) mixed 60city/40 highway%
Since then, same exact mix of driving, 240-250 miles for same 15 gals of fuel.. If Im lucky! Ive gotten 225!!
I did change out that older coil on a Whim which seemed to smooth out the start up and slight stumble i was getting, and i thought gas mileage was getting better some, but just drove 106 miles on 5.5 gals which equates to 19.2mpg.. And that was 40 miles city, the rest highway at a mild cruising speed of 68-70mph
Car seems to lack acceleration in the mid range, like turning a corner and the car shifts to second or third, step a little more on teh pedal with no more response or acceleration.
Think i could have other defective coils? or plug gaps changed??
I appreciate any help someone could give before I continue to throw more money at this!

winter blend gas will cause a decrease in MPG.

Have you cleaned your IACV, EGR, and TB yet? If not, do so, that should help.

Not sure of your location, but if you warm the car up from the cold for a few minutes each morning you will lose MPG as well...

Air filter / fuel filter....changed recently?

I should have said in OP, Yes New Air Filter, and everything! Cleaned throttle body once about 6 months ago... and NO CEL at all which is whats baffling me!
Also, Some days I get in, and the car feels great! Accelerates a little better then normally... Then the next day, back to same suspect acts
I am in NE PA.. I let car warm for maybe 2-3 minutes.. I would believe the winter blend gas thing, if it werent for lack of power.. And not so Dramatic a drop in MPG

Gas Mileage back in SEPTEMBER 2011 (300-330 a tank/ 15.5 gals) mixed 60city/40 highway%
330 miles / 15.5 gal = 21.29MPG
Since then, same exact mix of driving, 240-250 miles for same 15 gals of fuel.. If Im lucky! Ive gotten 225!!
225 miles / 15.5 gal = 14.5MPG (OUCH)...250 miles gets you 16.12 MPG

but just drove 106 miles on 5.5 gals which equates to 19.2mpg.. And that was 40 miles city, the rest highway at a mild cruising speed of 68-70mph
EPA mileage estimates for the 2K max is 19 city 25 hwy, average drive is 21 MPG.

How are your tires?

He has searched, yet he's spent a ton of money and hasn't put in a $40 knock sensor

SMH

OP, buy a bloody knock sensor and put it in. Reset the ECM and report back.

Tires seem ok, just had alignment done a few months ago whe I did my struts and end links on my sway bar and steering assy.

And i dont think even the 16-17 mpg is acceptable for this car, especially knowing Ive consistently gotten 20-21 average for over a year Ive owned it. Until the past 3-4 months or so. Its annoying! I got 19.2 today like I said, but was expecting more being I went 60 plus miles out a hundred on the highway! When I know back in SEPT, I traveled 390 miles on a full tank (15.5-16 gallons) when I went on vacation

Actually, Did buy a knock sensor, never put in (couldnt get to it and wasnt willing to move a ton of sh*t), so I sim'd it as per directions on here with originally a 470k Ohm resistor, but more recently after more researching on here about it, with a 550k Ohm one.

I also have a new bank 2 PreCat, and rear O2 on that bank, but pre Cat O2's been in there since I purchased the car at least, at 130k miles a year and half ago. Mechanic says they are switching correctly and doesnt see them being the issue.

Something is wrong with the car obviously it's not allignment or anything if it's notably underpowered.

Glad to hear you've done the research on the KS! Did you test it or just put the resistor in?

Have you upgraded your grounds? Bad engine grounds can cause some silly issues.

Also, not sure how serious your power loss is but a broken Variable Intake solonoid is very common on the 00/01 and will cause loss of power

Did you do spark plugs?
