How long will a VQ35 oil burner last?

And to OP check every inch of the block for leaking oil (including spark plug wells) and fix it...if you haven't already. Aside from this I fully believe that the switch to rotella t6 5w40 helped with the blow-by. There should have been puddles under my car considering how much oil I lost initially, but instead it just oozed out of my leaky gaskets and bad oil filter o-ring (resulted in random drops throughout my commute). The rest had to go somewhere...and I suspect it went right on by those scoured piston rings and seals. I also threw in a bottle of auto-rx, which is some kind of additive that cleans the engine without harsh detergents to maintain seal integrity. Not sure if it worked on it's own or in conjunction, but collectively they slowed my consumption.
Gonna change the oil probably this weekend or next, and like I said I'm gonna start tracking the oil consumption more closely now to see how much difference the vc made.
I will use up the rest of a jug of Mobil1 super synthetic 10w30, and top it off with T6. I guess the theory about less blow-by makes sense. The T6 has alot of zinc in it, which probably increases the density at least somewhat.
And of course I always treat the oil and gas with seafoam right before I change the oil.

I don't think I've ever posted in here before but I'd like to chime in. I own a 2004 G35 6MT Sedan. Ran synthetic motor oil in it for 98k miles and it started consuming massive amounts of oil after installing test pipes. 500 miles later I took the pipes off and switched to conventional motor oil.

To answer the OP's question, I've seen oil consuiming engines go more than 250k miles with proper vigilance of the oil level.

Similar issue on I35 VQ
I had similar oil burn issues, mine did reduce it significantly maybe a quart per 4k miles. YMMV
