Roof Rack Question

i see that everyone that does the roof rack only does the bike rack setup. Im think about getting the basket style one for my 5.5 but i don't know how it looks anyone try if so a pic would be nice.

Thinking about this basket and possibly the dome lights on the front

I have one of those on my forester, and honestly knowing how it looks, keep it off of the Maxima...

Seeing with my bike setup on my roof my MPG goes from 18 MPG City to just under 16 MPG I keep the racks off till I go and ride. Looks like the basket would be worse. Are you planning on carrying stuff in side it all the time? If so maybe you need a Pathfinder instead of a Maxima for cargo.

well i love my max and i feel like it can do so much more as far as cargo is concern. And i don't really ride bike to much more boxes and stuff cause of my business and most people dnt even use the bike rack they just have it for show. Im planning on getting leathers and i don't want to run the chance rip a seat with box or some nonsense like that.

P.S. Hey customlowz you think you can take a pic with it on top of the Max if you don't mind of course

This is how it looks on my forester... adds a good 8 inches to the top of the vehicle...
