Wheel Swap question

I have a set of 2004 acura tl rims that a customer was getting rid of. They are in good shape. Just have to be refinished. Anyway, I know they are 8 inches wide and I think the lug pattern is the same. Just wondering if there will be any type of fitment issues if I decide to use them and also if they do fit what tire size should I go with. It is a 17 inch rimd and currently have 15 steels w/205 65 15 tires. Sorry if this isn't in the correct thread. This was the easiest to get to on my phone lol

Use that for your tire size options, and not sure on the offset, but I'd say it's in the 40's, so take that into account too.

News to me, I wasn't aware these were 8" wide, pretty cool, as most companies like Nissan, never go wider than a 7.5" during those years. Good news.

Wrong. They're the same bolt pattern but the centers have to be bored out.

TL center bore = 64.1mm
Maxima center bore = 66.1mm

^and make sure the shop knows what they are doing when machininig the hole. If you are out of concentricity, it would create noise and vibration.

MSU, are we playing the 'make words up' game again?

I had to google it. You've acheived a level up on the smart-o-meter (plays corny Nintendo-era 'level up' .wav file)

Yup as long as they know what they're doing.
