Transmission fluid leaking (manual)

Transmission fluid leaking (manual)
Anyone know how costly this is? Clutch is squeaking like crazy and I have a leak, guessing transmission fluid since the clutch is so squeaking.
Is this something I can do myself?

Two issues could be related, but they also are not necessarily related. You will need to get under the car to visually check where the leak is coming from.
There are a few common areas for oil leaks so it could just be an oil leak. Thus, your squeaking clutch is a separate issue perhaps related to your master cylinder and air infiltration.

Wait, I'm confused. The clutch itself is supposed to be dry. The clutch master cylinder needs to have fluid to push the hydraulic rod that pushes on the clutch fork and then the trans itself needs fluid for the gears, but the actual clutch itself is not in the gear oil. It's bolted to the flywheel which is bolted to the crank of the engine.

Well, it's the master/ slave clutch cylinder I think, what brand to buy I'm on rockauto right now.
I bought a new clutch last year, should these parts come with the new clutch?

Yeah if it's that then the worst that will happen is the clutch slave cylinder will fail and you will not be able to operate the clutch. You'll know when that happens becuase the clutch pedal will go to the floor and not come back... Happened to me once and it sucked...

A descriptive post of what you suspect, what you've checked, or simply saying you have no idea what's going on and you're looking for advice, all would have sufficed and received no snarky commentary.
Just think before you post, that's all. Your post was vague and reaching, baaad. I was shaking my head before I even got through half of it.
Did you even read what you posted?
Here, I'll answer your questions then.
Nope, you haven't even said what's going on yet. Want me to guess? Ok, $2000
Oh I see, you're guessing that it's a transmission fluid leak because your clutch squeeks
So the whole premis of your thread is based on a guess that you've come up with based off a squeeky clutch, no research, and admitedly, no real mechanical knowledge.
This one i CAN answer. No.

Unfortunately, there was a need for that.

I went to see my mother and she told me it's some fluid on the ground in the area I parked after I left her house. I assumed I had a leak, however I didn't even know where the clutch fluid was at until I went to see my mechanic a couple hours ago and I checked it and it was fine.

learning my car is better is something I want and will have to do.
