Simple Aftermaket Grill.......

I wondering if anyone can inform me on the latest and greatest in the world of aftermarket grills for our 5th generation Max's. I have seen a few of the metal grills but what I am looking for is something simple and black. Something similar to the factory grill but with maybe less bars and with the emblem shaved...something pretty dark....any input?

the screet scenes in the only production one so far. (see custom maxima for details) You can paint it black.

The rest are custom. Get some gutter guard and go crazy.

I think the 2000-2001 grills are by far the best looking grills for the 5th gen maxs.. compared to street scences and the 2k2 grills, I say keep yours and be happy.

Some people have painted their grill to match their paint. And Russ is working on a deal with another company that makes grilles. Lets see what happens?

I had the grill of my black AE painted black (had some bumper damage so when insurance fixed the bumper, I had them do the grille, also). I think it looks great. I thought about the mesh grille but wasn't sure. For now I'm very happy with the look.

What color was the grill before you painted it?

Originally it was gray. To me the black looks richer. I'm happier with this than I would have been with the mesh.

I guess since my Max is gray, the grill really looks black already. Gotcha.

As soon as I get a scanner, I will try to figure how to get some pictures up.

MichaelAE - Yea, you got me. On a Gray car, you wouldn't notice.
