2000 maxima vibration

I got a 2000 nissan maxima gle, It came with the standard 16" wheels, I put on a set of 2003 maxima 17" wheels & tires, I had the tires mounted & balanced but im still getting a vibration going over 40 or 50mph. But the vibration stops when I over 70 or 80mph. Do I need to get them rebalance over to fix this problem. also I had the struts done on front & back. That shouldnt cause the vibration? any replys are helpful..

Ive had to have tires reblanced because of a sh*tty job before.Have the shop
check them again.Make sure you dont have a bent wheel.

assuming you had a proper alignment done after the installation of the struts, i would agree with memphis. except i would go to a different shop for the rebalance, just to be sure. you never know, their machine could be off calibration.

No, I didnt have an alignment done, can that cause the vibration. If so I will get it done plus have the tires rebalance.

when ever you replace anything dealing with suspension or steering, always have an alignment done. it will most definitely cause the vibration.
