Quick Question for the knowledgeable

Hi
I'm pretty new to this whole forum thing. And im pretty new to modifying and working on nissans but i just have one quick question.
Hands down. What would be the best setup strictly for power. I dont care about how it sounds or anything like that . Just strictly power. What would be the best set up for an intake and exhaust.
Im looking into getting the JWT Pop Charger or the Weapon R intake. And a cattman exhaust. Im just not sure and i wanted to get a little bit of intel before i go out and blow my measley military paycheck on it.
Thanks

Oh boy here we go...
First, thank you for serving our country.

Now. The answer to your question relies on another question answered:
What kind of budget are you looking at?

^^ Haha my thoughts exactly.

The information is all within this section of the forum. Before the flamers arrive and harass you to search, start off by just reading the stickies if you haven't done so already

But my $.02...

DO THINGS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! Do not, for the love of god, simply cheap out on your parts. Do you're research if you come across certain brand of part. Most likely, any brand of part for your Maxima has already been discussed and reviewed by previous members. That doesn't mean go out and buy the most expensive intake, exhaust (well, Cattmann being an exception...) etc...but you won't have to run around blowing money on replacement parts in the future because you were unhappy with the quality, fit/finish, sound, and overall performance. Reading, reading, and more reading will be your friend.

I'd also recommend talking to Moncef here on the forums. I'm sure he is lurking somewhere and may have a comment or two regarding pure power haha

Well thank you. Ha. I love being in the service. But yeah im mostly on a tight budget. But for the most part im willing to spend up to 300 on an intake. 600 or so on a full exhaust and for the headers i know ill be saving for awhile on that . Im just trying to do things the right way the first time instead of experimenting. I did some research on the injen "true" CAI vs the Weapon-R SRI and im really on the fences about it. And then the JWT Pop charger also comes to mind. For the exhaust im not really worried about it because ill probably end up purchasing that 3'' that cattman makes. Its just i gotta replace my air filter and everything anyway. So id rather just get the intake and the filter at the same time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ha.

Yeah i guess your right. Its just i have so many questions and dont really wanna come off as a noob by asking them. Based off of my paycheck from uncle sam im not really bankin' so im trying to get it all good the first time around instead of going out and replacing everything like you said. So i guess ill just continue browsing the forums haha.
