Side Skirts Ghetto Problem (PICS)

Bought the car with side skirts I think there 02 skirts not sure? But anyone the previous owner did a really crappy job attaching these...Its falling off and I took photos of what he used to hold them on. Its some black twisty stuff? I looked to see if he used the clips and it looks like it stuck the glue on the clicks and body, and one of the clicks ripped off easily as i was observing. But the glue comes off the body. Anyway Im using shiny ghetto tape right now...Solutions?

Don't be. i almost look at the screws and rivets as a safety precaution / backup.

remember the tape is across the entire sill, and rivet or screws on the ends in the wheel wells

Yes they do actually make 100% Alcohol you can get it at hardwares stores or Home Depot / Lowes but you might not want to use it on your paint as it will strip it.

Actually, it's probably only 95%, since 100% (denatured) alcohol is medical/scientific grade - you need a special license to buy it. The off-the-shelf stuff is not 100% because they put a poison in it to keep sheisters from selling it for consumption (and winos from actually drinking it).
