So youre running 34" total (resonators) right? I have a pretty similar 3" setup except for the muffler. Goes to show how much the stock keeps volume down. Im debating whether changing my muffler out. Its loud but sounds sexy in person.

Agree, I was running headers and catback with a stock catback, as soon as I put the test pipe in, I noticed a gain in mid-top end power. But get ready for all the extra noise haha

we may have to agree to disagree but i honestly think its mental saying you felt that difference in certain rpm ranges.... srry... when ppl say this is like saying yea i felt were my car accel .07 sec faster in a single gear or .1 sec faster in a 1/4.... i dont think the human mind can correctly tell that but ill respect ur post lol

The only two times i couldve actually felt my car being faster was after my TS ECU and after my 6MT swap... all that other crap i couldnt tell worth shyt unless i lined up with somebody but no not just on a random day just accelerating lol

 

After a long time, I believe in the test pipe for gains.

Personally, I disagree. Yours is much louder since you arent resonated. Is your TP resonated?

None resonated testpipe. It's straight through from the headers back. Just a muffler at the end. It's raspy at 2.6k to 2.9k after that it has a nice high pitched vq roar and a low rumble at idle.

 

Yeah definitely make a flyby and an in cabin one if you can.

Has anyone tried this test pipe, it's goin to be bolted to a cattman y and eBay 2.5" cat back. The seller confirmed proper length and it's a pretty good price so I'm prob gOnna grab it, unless I shouldn't?

 

i think the major difference in sound here would be that this guy is using a Y vs everyone elses headers lol

 

there was a pull to 110 here that was pretty impressive lol... wished my AE did that lol
