If I had time, i'd do the SSIM mod to this extra IM I have sitting here so you can swap them on the dyno to see what makes more power. I believe the SSSIM will because sparks did have both and showed gains all around. Unless you still have yours? I see where denver is coming from with his assumption that the SSIM is better, but again like I said before, there are tons of other 5.5's tuned with the same mods as JP that don't even come close.

Hey CJ, got a question for you. I'm running an HP pavilion DM4 with the intel i5. I've got 4gb of memory now. Thinking filling the extra slot in it with another 4gb to make it 8gb just for the hell of it really. I don't do much that requires more than what I have now. Any reason not to do it? I'm running 64bit windows 7 by the way.

Sorry to hear about the headache. I get massive ones too & my Dr. has tried every drug known to man w/0 success. Has something to do w/my sinuses since it happens w/changes in the weather. My head was all screwed up yesterday as well (congestion/vision/balance). Maybe since a front was going through NE yesterday. Sux to get old! Anyway, my recuperative plan is below.

With 64bit the more the better because it handles memory allocation different then the 32 system i would even say go higher if you can but please check what you mb can handle and try to match the set

cool. I checked crucial.com per recomendation from a friend of mine on compatability but they don't have my exact model number. Mine is a dm4-2195us. I see 2191us on there though. According to them, each slot can handle a max of 4GB. Assuming they have the same/similar specs, I guess I'm limited to a max of 8GB combined anyways.

Do you have a check valve installed to keep the water from backing down into the well?

I've primed wells using the old fashoned hand pumps before. There should be a check valve located right there before it goes into the pump, not after.

If it's an old well, it's possible that the well point down in the ground is corroded. This will affect how much water the pump is able to draw through it.

Are you losing water pressure after the pump has been running for a little while? If so, your water table might be low and the well is drying up.

i think im not getting all the air out of the system from both the house and the pump headsomething inbetween the pump and the faucet is not getting the air out.its a on demand type pump because we have a 110 gal pressure tank in the basement so when the water stops flowing you get a big burst of air.its in a underground creek (brandywine creek)

Hmmm...

Turn on all of your water faucets and let it run for a few minutes. That will help to purge the air out.

How did the air get there to begin with? Did you have work done to the system?
