Not currently. But the motor that did have the 3.5 cams in, I didn't notice any. Is it leaking closer to the rear bank?

Its on both banks which is really awkward. im suspect the cams are the problem, but im hoping they are not and it was just insufficient RTV thats causing my leaking issue.

That's exactly what they were doing today. Some like ex-con program or some sht to sell magazines or buy a subscription for some family in the hood or something. Ridiculous. I don't know why my mom was so nice as to not slam to door in their face after they rambled on and on for ten minutes. It took me and my dad, who's a well-built muscular guy, coming to the door from the kitchen and borderline threatening them to leave for them to go away.

Also, is it insane/paranoid that whenever these people come and then leave to go to the next house, I always stare them down from a window in the front to make sure they don't go anywhere near my car in the driveway? One guy did once last year, he cut across the driveway and walked right in front of my car to go to the neighbors. I stormed out the front door immediately and scrutinized the hood and front bumper to make sure a stray key from the disgruntled lowlife didn't find its way into my paint.

I like to think I'm a tolerant, calm and peaceful person, but in these kinds of situations it all goes out the window for me which I'm not necessarily proud of. I'm extremely territorial of my house and my car and nothing sets me off like a situation like today's does. Being bothered at home makes me makes me angry and feel threatened honestly. You have no idea what the motives or tactics are of these people. They could be scoping out properties for robbery for all I know. As my dad said before, this is no longer a society that tolerates door-to-door bull**** and it's unbelievable that there are still people who don't understand this.

CONFESSION:

This ford focus rental I've got handles better around corners and swift turns than my maxima.

Blasphemy, I know. But I'm more than a little impressed with what this little 2.0 liter 4cyl can put out when I get the chance to open it up a bit on the freeway.

Put 23 bucks of gas in it and its almost 3/4 full

Guess this means that I've gotta get tie rod end link bushings and **** for the max to tighten her 145k chassis up a bit.

To be fair though I'm comparing a 2010 focus with 40k to a 99 max with 145k.

I used to have an SVT Focus, and it handled very well. Great car.

Not necessarily. A new Mustang GT turns the same lap times as the all mighty BMW M3. That's quite impressive.

They test them against that car yes but its all very relative. I will never agree a Mustang is anywhere near the league of a BMW M series. Simply blasphemous. They might could of matched lap times but in most categories it falls short. Especially advertised HP. Only new Mustang I would get is a special Shelby edition(any of the ones he has done). I would still feel like a tool and my "built not bought" sticker would be null and void

If I could get these in 18x10 or even x11 I would try and squeeze these on the max

Highly doubt its the cams too. But I've never done rev up cams in a 3.0 so not sure. My cousin's car with the 3.5 bottom, 3.0 heads and 3.5 cams doesn't leak at all either.

My next wheels are definitely coming from vr wheels. If I owned a 6th gen I would definitely jump on these fast..

That's what im hoping but i was damn thorough with the RTV when i put the motor together so its just bothering me because its the second time that motor has leaked oil. Thats why im leak this is weird.

This is coming from the person that doesnt even know what offset wheels will fit his car.....lets not forget this guy also has one of the cheapest muffler available on ebay....and he is on the cheapest wheels also available. This person also claims to have a mildly built motor but has no ways to prove he has a built motor, lets not forget this guy does not know anything about modding nor mods his own car......

I believe this constitute a ban. Mods.

Does the 5th have the same type of gasket as the 4th? If it does that rubber might have a defect in it or there might be something up in the gasket channel preventing it from sealing

Clashez, I believe the wheels you posted from VR are 11 and 12 wide with a +2 offset? Come on thats never going to fit lol. The wheels from that site are pretty expensive. Just get some more XXR's and save your money.

Laugh out loud your confusing like with cheap, I got the xxr 521's cuz I seen them on mijestic kens car and LIKED THEM not cuz there cheap. I got the obx twin loop muffler cuz it's different and I like the thought of the muffler and style not cuz it was cheap .. hundred dollars is hardly cheap for a muffler ... the engine I got I brought it like that when I blow the motor on nos and had the cams added be for install.. I don't know how to mod my car, I bet if you put both are cars side by side 95% of the crowd would pick to own my car instead of your... besides the fact you have a 50% percent running turbo set up.. you anit gotta hate on me cuz I'm doing my thing.. cuz when I finally DO get my car dyno.. you will be feeling SICK. That I know

Actually, it makes sense that the rear valve cover next to the timing cover would leak. When he put the 3.5 IM on he used a rear 3.5 valve cover first and it leaked. He then got a dek valve cover and grinded it down to clear the manifold. But what you're describing is coming from the actual timing cover. And that still don't explain the front leaking.

You will dyno at 240whp at best, bolt on 3.5 numbers

Your wheels, xxr=cheap. My wheels brand new are OVER $600 each. and they are not considered expensive.

OBX=Cheap knockoff. They tried to copy Mugen and didnt do a good job. Most quality mufflers are atleast $300.

You cant prove ****, you dont know ****, and you are trying to talk ****. Just stop. You are an embarrassment to the community.

Its the cam shaft bracket that is leaking which is where the timing cover and valve cover meet.

Key word when your wheels WERE brought new THEY WERE over 600. When I got my wheels I could have chose to go the route you when to but I like new and liked the 521's end of story. .
What do you know about obx not doing a good job on making a copy of the mugen... have you not heard the sound clip I provided numerous times.. ? Wait let me guess u know some body else with this muffler.. the great crusher knows all lol

yea they did. In reality there are alot of people out there who think they are buying real stuff when in reality they are buying the one fro the masses. Like people who buy Seibon and think they are getting good CF

Yea I wish. The Greddy SP@ Im going to order is absurdly expensive but I like to support companies who do R&D over the companies who come in and cheapen it somehow to make it available to the masses. Not my bag.
