Lol. Other than Nissan, Toyota is the manufacturer I know most about. And one of the biggest misconceptions about Toyota is that the 2j is the best, most powerful thing they have to offer. I. Reality, that's far from the truth.

You're talking about a guy that probably wore V neck sweaters to school and went to renaissance fairs. So you're gonna have to cut him some slack and explain these things to him that happen outside of the Leave It To Beaver suburbia.

You did post pics of the car, but none of the pics had the hood open showing the turbocharger.

Ok Rochester then Ying Phat would be the name of a local urban asian winery/convience center where you can purchase fine vintage american distilled wine and liquor at a discounted price during all hours of the day usally 7 days a week.some of the finer brands they distribute are thunderbire, wild irish rose, old english and a very popular product enjoyed by the urban hippster Colt 45 because it works everytime.if you require more info on these fine establishments please feel free to ask.also i may add they do have a late nite menu at many of these establishments where you can pick up popular appitizers such as a #2 which is 3 wings & a biscuit or the ever popular Fried Gizzard and French Fry platter.

I remember fried gizzards & livers as a child in Kentucky. It's a regional thing.

Weird vibe in your blog today, cj.

You can get that down here, too. I just don't care for gizzards because they're too chewy, but the flavor is good.

It's more truth than humor! In RI we dislike MA going back to the days of Roger Williams. In fact there was/is? a law making it legal to kill someone from MA on your property! RI vs. MA makes the Hatfield/McCoy feud pale by comparison. But I digress. "Don" Raymond Patriarca ran the entire east coast syndicate from his office in Providence, RI. He was an alter-boy compared to Joe Kennedy & to this day a $.25 tribute is paid to the Kennedy family on every shot of Scotch/Whiskey poured on the eastern seaboard. People talk about the Kennedy family tragedies, but <IMHO> it boils down to 'sins of the father' karma.

They have not been prepped correctly then must be soaked in malt liquor first then left in the sun before coating and deep frying

Actually, born and raised in Rochester, NY. Spent two years in Kentucky as a kid between 2nd and 3rd grades, then we came back to New York. As an adult out of college, I moved to Hartford for less than a year. And the Southertier area of New York for a couple years. But for the most part, Rochester has always been home.

There are many nicer places to live, but home is where it is sometimes.

Yup but it'll still be ugly inside and out. Fast isn't everything unless racecar.

GTK. So what's the best then?

My only real Toyota interest lies in a MK4 or a MR2, or the old (not hideous) IS (altezza) platform.

Same thing here. When my parents were married, my dad got transferred a few times with his line of work. Went from being born in Jax to living in Kissimmee, back to Jax, then to a couple of places in NC, then back to Jax, then down to south FL, back to Jax, (parents are now divorced) then central FL until I graduated H.S., and back to Jax again where i've been since I graduated H.S. back in 95.

Yep, except my dad wasn't military. He worked with a printing press company called Webtron, I believe. He even took a few business/training trips over to Germany, too. I remember him bringing back all kinds of stuff from Germany. One of them was a Yaegar shirt but my mom wouldn't let me wear it.

with the older units you have to watch for noise indused by the sliders and its a good ideal to get a new mic cause they break down after about 10 years
