Dropping car off at detail place today $280 it better come back lookin like a lambo for that price they said the car cover stained and scratched the top that why the hazyness wont come off
Can someone give me an opinion? I drove by a local Nissan dealer to check on an 08 altima 3.5 SE 45,000KM mint no accidents etc. They were asking 18,900, and it's closed now BUT the window sticker said 8,995. Obviously something's wrong. If this is a mistake, as it likely is, What will they do when i show up at 9 tomorrow morning and tell them i'll take it for the window price?
Brett usually has a handle on the Org, too, but lately he's lost it. I genuinely hope he's OK.
Sometimes I wonder, too. Irrespective of the age difference, Waxima gets my acerbic sense of humor and shares most of my particular values in a variety of things. Unlike some predisposed to butthurt, kids like Waxima and Moncef have this forum thing figured out.

There are distinct personality cliques here, that's for sure. And although some people cross-over based on the topic at hand, one thing is really obvious: clashez has no friends or like-minded members here. I'd feel sad about it if he were a little less ridiculous or respectable, but I can honestly say... don't care.
I've met some good people in real life here in the Org. It would be a fun afternoon to have a meet-up with a few more like T_behr, cj, waxima, brett, pezz, aackshun, crusher and manny (when sober). Even Hustler seems like a decent sort in person, having met him briefly two years ago.
We all lose sight of reality here on the Org, filling in the blanks of a person's personality with our own preconceptions and values. Hence the butthurt when things don't measure up or fit the profile people expect.
In reality, we're all just normal people with a shared love of cars. Very likely, most of us are so normal as to go unnoticed at a meet-up unless there was a big Maxima.Org tattoo on our forehead.
Food for thought. I need more coffee.

I just think most of us are good people that just get into heated debates somtimes.i have even noticed people start certain topics to induce a debate its all a healthy sport because in the end we all eventally end up at the same conclusion

Well that $280 detail ending up closer to $400 because the crappy car cover was actually sticking and left residue on the car thats tacky feeling after they did a quick washdown to check the paint they told me i shouldnt leave the cover on for that long when outside and now i need a new cover i wonder if its covered under warranty sense it came with the car

You know what a nothing org member told me that is also a member of the other forum (local) I go on. You could tell i was the same person by looking at my post from one forum to another. That clashes is just an online org charter I play lol
I used to detail cars so I know what you mean. A handy trick I use is compressed air to blow out all the crap that gets inbetween the seats and center console, and underneath other areas where you can't reach with a vacuum.
Here's a crazy thing. I'm changing the oil today on the G, and I have to remove the lower panel under the engine in order to access the filter. There are no less than 16 bolts holding that panel in, as well as 3 plastic tabs.
As I do this, I'm thinking: in a few years these bolts are going to be hunks of rust. It might make sense to replace them with stainless steel, to future-proof the situation.
