That's only if you live in Texas.

OAN, I think I'm going to go for a ride and see a late night movie the family doesn't want to see: "Prometheus" in 3D on the IMAX.

No doubt Joey Jordison is a great drummer. But I'm not sure if anyone's currently got more best drummer awards than Mike Portnoy.

MOST 3d movies are, because they're not actually shot with a 3d camera. Or at least 80-90% of the movie isn't.

The rest is doctored to 3d and it turns out aweful.

If you've ever seen a movie that was actually SHOT 100% in 3d like "Sanctum" on the IMAX you would not say this.

think you'll like it. I did. A bit was '...meh' but overall it was pretty good.

The 3d wasn't impressive, but Imax as always was.

Rush actually formed in 68 and they released their first album in 74, but had John Rutsey as their drummer at that time. Neil Peart came on after that.

The cost to do it PROPERLY and make it enjoyable and innovative is ridiculously high. So everyone cheaps out and does it half-a$$ed.

Like I said, if you get the oppourtunity to see a Cameron film or something that was ACTUALLY shot with HD 3d cameras from start to finish, go see it. See it in IMAX if you can. Your opinion of 3d will forever change.

I felt the same as you until I saw SANCTUM in 3d. That ish blew my mind forever.

naw... not a fan of wearing glasses to watch tv lol... n if thats the only option to a "real" experience then it further drive my point home on how stupid the technology is... being in the HT field for 6yrs and having to setup a few extremely high end type stuff i think ive seen more than the average guy... 3D is a money scamming technology... ill wait until they start doing hologram movies to give it a go... 3D is a fail to me srry tuner, i guess this is one of those some will like it some wont thing...

It was OK. I kept thinking I was seeing all these similarities to an old SciFi movie, and then the ending... and turns out that's exactly what I was seeing.

Did it need to be 3D? Nah. Not really.

For the most part, you're right about this. But you also generalize too much. Movies that were shot for 3D with IMAX cameras will provide stunning visuals. And "Prometheus" was certainly visually stunning. We're fortunate to have a decent IMAX theater here in Rochester.

These non-IMAX movies they call "Real 3D"... those suck *****, and are a total waste of money. I avoid them with extreme prejudice. But IMAX 3D, that's a whole different ball game.

One word: AVATAR.

I guess to each their own.... Nothing about 3d is "visually stunning" to me I guess your opinion is your own reality.... Every single 3D experience I've had has never surpassed just watching it on just a blue ray 1080p

See how the rear valence area is matte black? That's what I'm going to do, although in this picture the car is a 2007-2009 G. Starting in 2010, they redesigned the bumper so that the recessed area is stretched corner to corner, wrapping around the edges and disappearing.

Personally, I prefer the rear bumper on the 2009, but the front bumper and grille on the 2010+
