What do you need to know? THe answer to this specific question?
On this one you are basically distributing the 2. WHenever something is in front of a parenthesis you must distribute it to everything inside. So it would end up like this:
y=2x+10(x-3)
then you would distribute again and get this:
y=2x^2+4x-30
and that is in what you call "standard form" in a quadratic equation. I can help you some but math is not my strong-suit so dont expect and A lol

^^This. I majored in Astrophysics in University so I understand a fair bit of math. You may get a little rusty at it, but you never forget. It's all there, everything you've learned. The higher level math that gets into proofs, non-linear equations, fractal math, etc.... That gets extremely difficult. It's a hard language to learn...
I've never been attracted to her like that.. not my type plus huge law violation lol... Would I do her?... Hmmmmmm a 10% chance if she wasn't my fiances bff lol.. she's not like n ugly chick, infact she's pretty decent, I just wouldn't approach her...
Something so standard wasn't so standard afterall huh lol... I said the same but no sweat, we can't all just remember everything like a HDD Lol... it was def a good enough attempt for me, but that wouldn't be good enough for the testers... I'll use tomorrow to practice factoring, then the next day something else, I'll try to keep at least 5 of the more standard equations n just use the next 2 weeks in getting em down pack
Why do you say that ?
I was really looking to get rid of the Max but the guy down the road offered to make the trade. Cause of his now growing family..he about to drop it off here in an hour...
Excited about this 3 day test drive. Doing my eBay home work I could have the stock golf 1.8t looking and sound pretty sweet for $2000

y= 4x+4
from there i think i'm lost...i think i'm lost regardless...........oh well
y= 2(x+5) (x-3)
after getting a lil lesson... to "foil" or to "factor" isnt really solving a problem
F.O.I.L means something... first, outer, inner, last so using that method
step 1... y= 2 (x^2 *First, -3x * outter, +5x *inner, -10 *last) last numbers are actual numbers so you multiply them out
y= 2(x^2 -3x +5x -10) -3x n +5x are similar terms that can be factored out
step 2... 2(x^2 +2x -10) after this step you multiply everything inside the parentheses n equation solved
step 3... y= 2x^2 +4x -20
answer... Y= 2x^2 +4x -20

the exact thing i said when i got schooled... its like man, it all make sense now, but you couldnt remember it for shyt at 1st... and if the question said "FACTOR" blah blah blah then you may have n idea of what equation to use but with the question only having that equation im like.... yo WTF do u want me to do? lmao

Are you getting the answer from a solution manual? I'm not sure how you have -20 as the coefficient for c. You had it at -15 and then brought it down to -10. Did I miss something?
