If only it were that simple. But since I had to read through all of that to get to the last sentence you wrote about nevermind, we'll leave it at that.

What you do behind closed doors is your business, not mine. Don't worry, I won't think any less of you in that manner.

Oh I understand what you're saying now. I believe you are referring to being behind closed doors instead of being inside a door? That makes more sense.

Anyone get stressed about maintenance problems? On top of it, I have auto-hypochondria (diagnosis from Nelledge).

I just want a few months to be stress free and enjoy my car.

wanna know whats my biggest hope for the XYZ coils... the way the front ones are made... most manufactures now use this style in making the coils..

Pause the vid at :25 seconds... see how the spring doesnt actually touch the top perch anymore like they use to.
EDIT: better yet dont even play the vid, just look at the screen shot embedded and you can see it

(and some XYZ models seem to still use this older way to make coils which IMO was the main reasons you always had the small "clunk" sound on certain turns)

EDIT x2 now looking on the 2nd pic it would seem as if all of them are made like that.. i know this is a new way K-sport started making their coilovers to avoid the recalls they use to accure about the noise it would make.... YESSSS!!!

I know the way I've modded my car has expedited some parts to wear faster but give me a break!

In the end, it pays off when I smile ear to ear driving down the road hearing my exhaust, hopping around in my stiff suspension, racecar cabin shake, and the compliments and stares I get from the general public.

You're getting closer and closer to 200k. You've got to expect maintenance. When you've only owned one or two high mileage cars for any extended period of life, one tends to blame the model or manufacturer. It's a machine. It breaks down. A grand or two in repairs and maintenance wouldn't seem so bad if you hadn't spend 3 or 4 or 5 grand in mods. Perspective, buddy.

thats true but that would be paying a couple grand in maintenance of things you dont know will go bad, so u can spend that much and still have something break lol... i get what he is saying... some stuff is the owners fault but the ones that kill me is when you just fixed something and another random crap breaks that has no link to the previous problem

Anyone else notice how people that really can't enjoy things have them in spades?

i.e., old men driving sports cars, or gay men covered in hot girls.

That **** makes me as mad as a midget with a yoyo >:/

It's all good dun need ya anyways. I love this Country. Every place has it's flaws, sure, but the good things here are countless.
And where I live (Kitchener/Southwestern Ontario) is incredible, I have everything within an hour or two of me, Lakes, rivers, wildlife, beaches, camping, hunting, woods, mountains, flatland, country, agriculture, industrial, big city. Literally everything within 1-2 hours. Most of the stuff is more like around the corner.

We get hosed for taxes here, it's no secret, it's just aweful. Add to that that the cost of living, gas, items, etc is on average 20-40% higher than in the states and it sucks.

BUT, we do good, I mean look at the economic shenanigans, we were on our game still during that and have bounced back incredibly well. On the whole it's really an amazing place.

Oh i completely agree, we have it better than almost ANYONE. HOWEVER; with that said, the cost of living here in Vancouver is astronomical. In the west side, my 14 year old house that is just a generic 3 bedroom 2800SQFT house was appraised at 1.14, That is retarded. i pay 1.48 a liter for gas, and for most consumables, it's 20-50% higher than the states. Asides from the sheer cost of living, We live in arguably the best country in the world. I want beach? Head an hour west. I want driving roads, pick one. I want snow? an hour north is the best skiing in North 'merica, I want heat? an hour plane ride solves that. There is no denying Canada is ****ing AWESOME.
