Car looks fine, Galactica. Couldn't help but notice the missing AE lip...

That offer from Hustler was very fair, and a fantastic opportunity. Jump on that ASAP.

Why drilled rotors, Tuner?

And what's this about another Auto-X this weekend? Someone got the bug last month.

Yeah, but plastic window shades are lame and only look appropriate on a Crown Victoria.

And indisputable lameness aside, look what they do to the lines in the chrome window trim.

Not good.

Koni reps(aka) yellow sport shock and ground controls...witch is a set up run by a few guys on the BMW forums and swair by there super stiffness. Yeah if u haven't noticed I can never make up my mind... did want to jump on the cj deal one cause it was super cheap two was planing on keeping and continuing to mod the maxima.
True is the days are probably numbered and I want to up grade... to a 7th Gen in the near future

Honestly, looks and weight reduction. I've never had them before so we will see how badly they chew through pads. I'd think they might be the last set I buy, but it was only $100 more to get a full set of X/Drilled so I figured it was well worth a shot even if I sell them and buy OEM.

Yuuuuup!!!!!! Hopefully I can make it! It's up in Barrie where Spock lives (roughly). It will suck if I can't get there as there's only 1 more event this year that I can attend.

Close, they were $1850 shipped. I got the kit below:
http://www.conceptzperformance.com/C...50366.153.86.2

Plus I'll likely get dinged with a couple fees COD on the package. As is the customary "screw the canada's" way

It'll be $2000 by the time I get it in hand. Which is a great price for such a big heavy package at my door in canada, really, really great actually.

When you add up what rotors and pads cost alone for those Akebonos (you'll be slightly disgruntled probably when you find out, Rochester), it's very resonable. And they come with EVERYTHING, adapter brakets, quality pads, nice rotors, stainless brake lines, literally everything all BRAND NEW

Pops why haven't you brought it yet? No one around you to tune? With an infinitely adjustable intake cam that would have been my first mod....

[edit] Disregard my statement about adjusting the cams

Never heard of it. I've become a big fan of Mequires over the last few years, but am always open to new car care ideas.

Are these the products your shop is recommending on the GTR?

I needed adapter brackets and lines also ($400-500 right there). Wish I would have thought to ask though....

Yuuup, hopefully. As for sunday? No. These won't be here for at least a month if I were to wager a guess.

Might make it for the last AutoX of hte season, that'd be nice.

I might try and hold off on the install until next summer unless I run into more issues with these brakes, because I'll need to either change them out for winter, or get 18-19" winter tires

I'm going to need to figure out this winter car thing I think.

Have literally done zero research on the topic.

It's loosely on "the list" for some years down the road, after bolt-ons.

Hustler, what's the real word w/swirl valves, since you got the 'secret recipe' for DE-K powah. From reading it looks like a VIAS, deal where you get some HP on top but lose low end???
