LoL I don't know what it is about finding money, even if it's a small amount. I found some change in a vending machine a couple of weeks ago and I was like "FCK YEAH!!!"

That doesn't mean I'm getting rid of the green machine though. Its probably going to turn into a weekend racecaw and the other will be a slammed and bolted daily.

No they don't. Used to. Unless I"m wrong, I admittedly haven't looked much, "Im not a Plasti-Dip fan.

Much of the US stuff doesnt come here because to sell it here it needs French & english on it. And I guess that's too much trouble for some companies.

As for the rotors, I'm sure they're amazing to look at, and probably come into play real well now that you're going to the auto-cross.

The blank OEM BBK rotors are only impressive by their sheer size, and noting that the large rear rotors are vented just like the fronts. Other than that, there's no pop to the rotors the way yours have. I'm looking forward to the install pics, Tuner.
Yup, literally John, these are the SAME calipers you have, they even come with OEM Nissan packaging.

But there was a big **** up today during attempted install. One of the threads bit halfway somehow, or the thread was damaged inside the caliper, dunno. Something's completely fuaked. I'm not pleased. I'll deal with it later.

I did get my Haltech and everything buttoned up and mounted, hidden away so you'll never know the car isn't stock.

When I slip a dollar into the vending machine at the office, it will usually give me 35 cents change on an 85 cent bag of chips. This happens so much that I actually feel ripped off when it gives me the correct change.

Did finding this money necessitate the use of a prybar and a hacksaw?

You know, the other night I had to use a baseball bat to beat down a guy trying to climb in my car.

Sometimes I don't think I'm cut out to drive a cab

Uh oh, don't let Rochester see that!

That was a good angle on that shot, sure as hell. Sun was just coming through the clouds and I was able to get the metallic of the paint to show.

I'm in the market for a DSLR camera now.. I officially used one yesterday to take pictures of a proposal and fell in love with the pictures.. I used an older Nikon D50.. The pictures from DSLR don't even need editing to make it look good

I might upload some pictures later

Rochester-like camera? That reads like a compliment, so thank you. But you know, I don't have **** for camera equipment. My 4 megapixel Canon is 8 years old, and a point-n-shoot at that.

All I've got going for me is a small knack for taking pictures, and an equally smallish skill at image editing. I wish I had better photo tools.

Keep Maxus on the east coast, far far far far away from Maxima owners near TX/OK/LA.

Not to kick mud on the few that are good enthusiast, but to shame the general population of people who just about wishing Maxus was here and I can't get a text back from them when I ask them why haven't they signed up....

Shirts are still for sale if you guys are interested.

OAN: White car may be gone soon.... I'm looking at other cars now..... 328i, Jetta TDI and

Mawnin

Oh hell yeah, I should have known though, the last few Maxima-only meets I had set up were all fail, I just figured I wouldn't get the same excuses as I have been getting for all the other meets on why ppl didn't show up because it was "Maxus."

Should have known

I'm done planning Maxima meets in Houston for good. Houston-Nissans is only falling off because of my focus on Maxus, but I should have just incorporated the two, but fck it, I have A LOT of stuff to still give out, too bad it won't be for Maxima owners any more, I'll just recycle everything from Maxus (Except maybe the NWP stuff... I'm not so sure on that Aaron has pretty specific applications on his products, I'll have to contact him on what to do w/ the NWP goods). In the end it will be the Maxima community's loss, not mine.

OAN....

328/325 orrrr Jetta TDI? Or another fun/reliable/modable car for under 3k?

From what I recall, 2009 Maxus was the last best meet. Wish I had gone.

2010 was kind of meh. Wish I hadn't gone.

2011 was cancelled for lack of interest and organization.

Shame about 2012.

I've a friend with the Jetta TDI 6MT. It's a very well constructed car, with excellent attention to detail. The drive can be rewarding and responsive, but you have to really get on the car to enjoy it. There is literally ZERO throttle response, so be forewarned.

40+ mpg in a fun-2-drive, practical car... that's pretty impressive, too.

However, I wouldn't own one. If I were to get a VW, it would be the CC 2.0T with the dual-clutch automatic (yes, I know... AT).
