According to my BMW guy nothing special needed on this one, maybe some torx here and there but that's it.

Maybe for suspension stuff, but the motor, tranny aint goin nowhere.

Did some salvage yard searching, there is A LOT of parts avail for this car, like 4th gen max avail because the parts interchange for almost 10 years

So I'm pretty comfy if anything breaks on this car.

Next step.... Sell le white nightmare.

Because not everyone in Iowa can be a corn or wheat farmer? That's my guess...

yeah I'd buy a Merc > bimmer, but then again, performance isn't high on merc's list if you want a manual for a half-way reasonable cost.

Neither the Bimmer nor the Merc impressed me with interior fit/finish either. You have to climb up into the much higher end versions to get nice stuff.

Wife and I had a baby shower this Saturday. It was great, we had a DJ and about 50 people. We danced so much, partied, ate and played a couple games(me and my mother won both). It wasn't even like a baby shower at all, it was a full party!!

Due Date September 14th...I can't wait to meet my little princess!!
