English is a strange language indeed. Probably since it's made up from other languages (they got invaded by almost every other culture) and it doesn't have a consistent set of rules. Because all the other languages rules involved don't match.

Hamburgers originated in Hamburg, Germany.
Although not French fries, they are French cut fries.

I get your point. Made it painfully and holariously clear!

Reminded me of an English teacher my soft more year of HS that denied us the use of any forms of "be" (be, being, been, has, have, had) for the year. Oh, the pain!!

How about what the word "ain't." Am not. I'm southern and us ain't multiple times a day, and it is absolutely misused. "That ain't gonna happen." I ain't kidding! Yes, English and the many inherent culturalisms is very funny indeed.

Yeah, stupid auto correct text on iPhone! I hate it. Even if is do spell correct half the time it does the above crap! Ugh.
Since mobil forum has picked up, I've noticed tons more spelling errors and incorrect words in posts. I know my errors are my phone and me failing to re-read everything before posting. I have to shut down my safari and google maxima.org just to bring up the normal version so I can go in and edit. Most times I just don't care
Enough to go through all that trouble.

Thought I'd share the most played song in my iTunes. I feel like this is the suburban white kid anthem.

Absolutely, in New England us 'Yankees' murder 'The Queen's English' too. Like the famous 'pok the ca in the yod'. Or in my native RI. we use the word 'Grinder' for a 'submarine' sandwich on a 'torpedo' roll & 'Cabinet' for a milkshake made with ice cream. But just up the road in Mass. the same ice cream milkshake is a 'Frappe'.

That's basically the-forum-troll-who-shall-not-be-named's car in a different color with a tow hook and a horrendous looking roof spoiler. And probably a sensible suspension setup.

I just went and looked at the thread on it in the member's ride section and I semi-take back what I said about the roof spoiler. I thought it was a different kind because of how it looks in that pic but from the other ones I can see it's the same one everyone else has. That picture angle just makes it look like it has an awkward arch to it.

I think some better wheels would really do that car justice. I love split-spoke wheel styles but those XXR's just aren't doing it for me on that car. Personally I'd stick some Enkei RPF1's or whatever they're called with some meaty tires on there and then adjust the suspension so the fender rests nicely right on top of the tire.

thats respectable... im seeing quite the few with RPF1's on the 5th gens, i personally like the "look" of the xxr's more....... the wheels id love are some simple 370z 18's lol...

if you're gonna paint the wheel on the tire, at least use a deck of cards to cover up the tire (spread out & stuck between rim lip and tire)
