Of course, do whatever you want. But I swapped the OEM bulbs in the vanity mirrors for LED's, and my advice is don't do it. It will look very pretty, but it will also be completely useless. LED lighting just isn't properly functional for vanity mirrors.

you know what cut my rasp i got a 3" ss cat from magnaflow the metal core one and welded 2 2.5" flanges to it.i had a test pipe there but it made it god awful and it was resonated

Well my friend's car is auto, but I'm sure it's the same problem w/ Manuals but at least it's avoidable.

It sounds like bees in a can or a little kid making fart noises with their mouth @ certain rpms, it's so loud people think the cabin is rattling.

but at other rpms the car is whisper quiet, it was really bad 2k-3k cruising around town, or at WOT.

llab, called it, cut off the muffler it actually gets rid of quite a bit of rasp but adds noise, should be better w/ a manual though, instead of the friggin TC engaging and disengaging causing the revs to just stay in the drone zone range w/ no muffler.

Honestly, I don't understand why you don't sell the GT-R, and sell the Maxima, then buy an Infiniti M56x, since you're so into Nissans.

 

 

at this point with both maxima down because i took them apart it looks like i'll have to use it for DD again i didnt want to do that but stuff happens.i think i have the highest mileage one on the fourm 54k+/-.i wont sell the maxima's one because for some oddball reason i like the 03 body style and the 97 was always planned to be used as the extra family use car it was always reliable and served me well over the years.things only went south when i started to tinker with them
