lol very valid points... i always disregard the rings because if the rings is what made jordan the greatest player then we would have to say bill russell was the greatest player ever followed by robert horey and we know how not true that is... people always bring up the ring as "a" reason when thats kinda unfair... so take the rings away and MVP's as the person with the most finals MVP is kareem abdul jabbar, so if we use those achievements to say michael is the greatest player ever then thats not true also.

it works both ways...they all played in different era of the game which makes it tougher to judge who was the greatest player ever. on top of that each position has different roles in the game. so its really hard to say who was the greatest player ever. Can we say he was the best SG....yea i think so...but player...hard tp say

Here is whats the most annoying thing on a Michael Jordan topic, at this point and generation, people who never really witnessed MJ played are just told and shown a couple highlights of MJ playing and IMO influenced and brain washed that this is as good as you can ever get, you should never say somebody is better or as good because if you do, you will look as if you dont know what you are talking about, so now Jordan is on this pedastool second to Jesus Christ to christians and really religious people who believe in god... when really he is just as human who had off nights also and lost games too... i can only speak from my experience and i saw the finals and them shyts were great because i was also a fake me out bulls fan, i use to laugh at my cousin when MJ would sink the competition, but in my life the SG that has had the most affect on me gamewise is Kobe Bryant, i wont compare the two because thats a never ending convo but Kobe was a player i hated to my guts and couldnt do shyt right and i watched every single 1 of those 81pts that change how i feel about Kobe (wasnt even a final just against a weak raptors team), in my personal experience as a fan, Kobe to me is the best SG, and this is beyond numbers... just his emotion on the game and his greatness affected me more than jordan...
