well however you choose thats on you but im just saying thats why you hear people with those lines of what is all the sudden too pricey for install lol... gutting your cats or going with headers leave the same exhaust tone, if not more deeper and harsh with gutted cats... where they tend to get even more loud (which seems to be the stories you experience), is if you gut your main catalytic converter....

If not wanting to install new headers along with my Y pipe makes me a bi*ch, than yes, I'm a bi*ch.

Damn I need a resonator that long. I forget how long mine is now but it is not long enough that is for sure. Can you order more than one at that price? I would be in

And I just picked up some 5 spoke 17s... Not exactly what I wanted, but they definitely qualify as a temporary set. Can't beat $35 per tire mounted and balanced.

YEa I certainly would not shy away from the work I am just worried about the sound and with no true long-tube designs out there, I am not putting in the work for crappy sound. Ill wait for long tubes or go custom down the road if I still need more mods to do

I did and I could only find them for about $70. 28" is long but that size will eliminate almost all rasp and honda 4 cyl sound when revving in nuetral. THat the only annoying part for me

Ive got the standard 20" resonator on there now paired with a 14" muffler on the end. I should have gone with a longer muffler and about a 25" resonator. Live and learn

I think you terribly missed what i was saying here, but seeing as though its got you a lil emotional lemme try and break it down a tad... whatever mod you do to your car its your choice, whichever you do choose to install or not to install is all gravy and most certainly doesnt make you a bish, so if you want to install a Y-pipe then thats great, some power increase is better than no increase if you ask me....

Now if your sole purpose to getting a Y-pipe is to convince yourself or others that the value of the complete manifolds are worthless and "not worth the extra value" then yup, you def fall into that "bish" category lol...

well most the sound in our case comes from the Y-pipe... long tubes may not be in our immediate future and honestly the current setup sounds great

I can't figure out your word salad, buddy. Read it twice, still not entirely sure.

So-o-o-o-o... don't care. Just smile and wave.

well... idk why i thought you would, maybe your "nitch" is just engine restoration.... but for a last ditch effort ill make it short.. when you buy a "performance part" in this case "headers and or Y" you pay for more power, one trying to justify if its worth it or not by "degrading" the other is being a bish .............. then again i dont expect you to understand that... i can live with our social barrier.... carry on

You give me far too much credit. I've never restored an engine. But it seems I am better qualified to make a value analysis than you are, if only by virtue of people actually being able to understand the things I say.
