For what seems like two years, I've been using up a variety of car wash soaps, never really happy with any of them. Finally used them up and bought something new last month. Anyway, I just did my third car wash in the last few weeks with this Meguires product, and I love it! It suds up and keeps its foam, it cleans very well, and it washes off in a way that you can see it sheet. It dries easier, and I swear there's a shine. Feels like a big deal to make over a $5 jug of soap, but I don't care. It's a good product.

Ham and cheese egg white omelette, with a dash of Tabasco sauce, and a cup of Heath Bar flavored coffee to wash it down.

Damn, I suck at using photobucket. Great success!

What, no ride height comments from Hustler? C'mon man, don't disappoint.

Clean car. Curb rash. Can't believe I'm saying this, but being black, it might look good tinted, with the chrome window trim blackened as well.

Wait. That's not in your post? That's your sig photo?

Cut me some slack, I just figured out how to post a pic of my car in my signature, now I'm trying to figure out how to make it smaller.

Also, if I tint my windows, I won't get it inspected in my state.

That there is a respectable, best bang-4-buck bolt-on for the 5.0 Gen Maxima. Nice.

Nothing. He's playing with you. Install that thing and enjoy it.

Looking more closely at your photo... shame about the rear fenders. Black helps to overlook that stuff.

I'm not very good at using Bondo. The rust has been a real big problem for me on this car.

Feel free to elaborate for the young un, Hustler. You're the one with the 5.0 gen experience (two of them? three?) I'll defer to your judgement. Unless it's whacked, in which case I won't.

While it's fun to mod a car, seems to me Job #1 would be rust repair. But everyone's different.

Meguiars does make a very nice product. SOme soap does seem to sheet off really well and aid in drying. A local carwash that I use also filters there water so spots are nonexistent. Have you tried this line-up yet? Very good stuff

I know this is an old argument... but the ROI doesn't isn't reasonable unless you can get the headers at the same cost as just the y. However, I've never spent a lot of time following mods for that version Maxima. Hustler certainly has.

No, haven't seen it before.

Wheels I keep waxed, so they wash clean stupidly easy, and I chamois dry them, like the rest of the car. Tires I also keep clean, and am fond of Armor All tire foam. Every now and then I dress them with Meguires Tire Gel; (the purple stuff.)

Thoroughly cleaned both cars today, btw. It's a beautiful day out.

I tried the foam but it seemed to streak, I suppose it could have been the brand. I have tried the gel before and liked it alot as well. I have always liked turtle wax products though. Oddly enough the actual wax is terrible but most every other product is good stuff. The tire shine in particular. I apply it in the same motion one would spray paint and it does not streak and drip down the tire and dries really fast. I used to just spray tire shine on and wondered why it would drip off take forever and a day to dry. Finally found the spray and move method works best and leaves a subtle but noticeable shine. I also spray the wheels with the shine and it is a nice polishing product.

It has been nice here as well. A few weeks ago it was 93 almost everyday but now it is holding steady in the mid 80's and it isnt unbearable to clean a car

you spend more $$$ for more power... all that this part isnt valuable and whatnot is retarded... also other than the power increase it doesnt leave your car sounding like a rotary, (assuming you go with headers with equal length Y) also as far as price goes cattman Y is $400 so is the set of OBX headers so all the crap on pricing is one persons way of justifying being a bish, and not wanting to install the headers really...

I have not gone for headers because I am scared of what it will do to my exhaust tone. I like it being subtle now and have seen horror videos. I chose to get power from a v2
