I am thinking about getting some snake eyes for my Max....you know the ones that go on your winshield washer sprayers. My boy has some on his 4 Runner & they look tight. Could you please tell me in detail how to install these? I would greatly appreciate it.

Just take this in consideration, since I currently have them on my car.

If you live in an area where the COPS dont look too highly on superwhite, blue, or modified cars, then you might want to think twice about them.

I have them, and most people on the board know that 3weeks ago I got pulled over because of them, and then in the SAME stop got a total of 8tickets for all the illegal stuff on my car.

1. Tint too dark
2. Windshield washer Lights
3. Neon license plate frame
4. No front license plate
5. Clear corners (Need to be orange in the front)
6. Clear corners (Need to be RED in back)
7. Use of "blue coated" bulbs in clear corners and 2k2 running lamps
8. Blacked out tailights.

Yes It was not a good day.

 

hey man, he's right... those things look TERRIBLE on any car. Also, they give the cops a valid reason to pull you over. My advise, get them, but dont wire them. The chrome squirters look cooler than some gay blue/red/whatever colored lights. dont do it man, you'll regret it. its wack as hell....

you need to take it in stride. you haven't been around long enough to know that most people don't really care for those lights and think that might be something a young honduh owner would do. Therefore labled rice. If you like it ... do it, but don't expect everyone to do backflips for the mods YOU like. Hell I've taken **** for my chrome wheels on this board!

So just relax take deep breaths and search next time before you post.

install is easy...juss take out stock washers and put em...i wired em to my indicators...juss match colors........only time i had problems w/ em was when i got pulled for 'amplified music, 50ft plus' the cop said all my lights were illegal, but i told him that i heard/know that as long as the lights arent blue or red, cop colors, its legal and he didnt even know how to respond..he juss said oh really, ill have to look into that.....theyre not the greatest thing and yea its rice but rice is coo, to a certain extent...maybe one day ill get tired of em and take em out...but for not they stay

don't be a d!ck. we dont need that. everyone has their own opinions about everything. the washer nozzle LEDS are just as touchy a subject as altezzas are. from what i've seen many people on the org loath the "snakes eyes" and many people despise altezzas. on the other hand, there are people who like them. dont blow up at people for stating their opinion. i personally think you should forget that you even considered putting the washer nozzle lights on your car because i think they are.....well, rice. if you like them and you're willing to take the tickets for them put them on the car (and if they're not illegal in KY then lucky you) just be prepared for people to let you know what they think about them. you WILL get some compliments and you WILL get some people telling you to get rid of them. just dont let it bother you and dont be an a$$ to anyone on here just because they dont like them. we're all friends here. we're here to help eachother not to b!tch at eachother and act like harda$$es

Thanks! That pic was with a Digi cam, but it was an overcast day. I am waiting till it gets sunny again so I can get out and take some pics. In that one, the car wasn't even waxed! Now with Zaino, I can only hope the camera picks it up.

I agree on the wierd color. I like it, but sometimes after waxing it and standing at certain angles ... its like DAMN did I even wax it at all??? I know it need to be painted something awful, and if I do break down and get the whole car painted (the chips, dents, scuffs, etc. are driving me nuts) I will most likely just get it painted in Mercedes Silver, or maybe Lexus Silver. I just love those and if I see it before hand, maybe add a little pearl into the mix as well.

Like others have already said, try using the SEARCH feature. Their are quite a few articles under "windshield washer jets" that will probably answer your question. Hope this helps.

Just so y'all know how much it sux to live in MN:
Here is a pic of what my car looked like when I got a ticket from a meter maid byotch. I'm stock as all hell, with a freshly painted front bumper and haven't had a chance to put a license plate back on it, and as Murphy's Law would have it, I get nailed. Cops must love this car. I used to drive 100+ mph around town in my teenage years in a black 1992 Lincoln Continental, and didn't even get scathed once. Maybe it's just coming around to kick me in the .

 

 

I posted this a few times, but since I am feeling nice today I will just do the search for you and find it.
Here we go...

They weren't that hard to install. The hardest part is getting the first nozzle out. Since they are recessed it is hard to see what you are grabing with the needle nose pilars. Once you get the first one, the second nozzle is a piece of cake (since you know what to do). Then I wired them to the blinkers (the green wire connected to the corner lights.) Just take apart the parking light harness and you will see three slots, one for the red wire, one for the black wire and one for the green wire. To wire them to the blinker, just stick the red wire from the LEDs into the slot of the green wire on the harness. Then just hook up the black wire (the ground) to any screw on the body. To wire them with the headlights, just put the red wire from the LEDs into the red wire slot on the parking light harness, and then hook up the ground wire. Hope that helps.
