Sway bar bushings

Found one side of my sway bar bushings ripped. This should be a straight forward, unbolt, yank the old and drop the new and bolt again right?

Could this be the source of my clunk?

Oreilly's have a set for $11 Moog. Ordered them and would be doing the install this weekend.

Get the Moog endlinks while you're at it - well worth the upgrade. I haven't read anything on the Moog bushings but I installed Energy Suspension bushings with Moog endlinks and the steering is much tighter.

Yes. Very straight forward job. Exactly as easy as it looks. And it could definitely be the source of suspension clunking noises. I've had a few customers over the past 6 months or so that had a clunk under braking and turning and it turned out to be end links on all of them.

take a look at your outer tie-rods and your lower ball joint while in that area...they tend to make noise as well. at least on mine...

Found a post on a test done on the end links. It is surprising to find out that the holes are not round and are oblong.

You've already ordered them, but in case someone else reads this...

MOOG is fine, but Energy Suspension bushings are only $20 give or take. They come with lubricant. Also, the Maxima SE model has a 23mm Front Sway Bar, all other models have a 22mm FSB.

I was quoted 175 to replace the stock FSB bushings for the ES ones. Outrageous? Absolutely...
All that is needed to replace them is removing each wheel and the bushing is visible, right? Might as well replace the endlinks also since its been 151k miles and the max is still on the stock links.
