ashtray material

hi guys i want to clean my ashtray but i don't know what material it is and i don't know if there are any specific good things to use to clean it. please help!

did you have the smoking package?if not its ligned with felt

Yeah, that's...not actually an ash tray from the factory.

Unless you bought the smoker's package. It's called a "coin holder" otherwise. It's lined with felt, which means if you used it as an ash tray and ruined the felt, well, I'd just get a screwdriver and get to scraping the fabric off.

Otherwise, just clean it with some soap and water.

The previous owner of my 00 was a heavy smoker and used the felt-lined "coin holder" as an ash tray... I just washed it out and sprayed over it with black spray paint, and it looks ok.

I stopped smoking cigarettes before driving my Maxima (and now the I35), but I kept a bottle of febreeze in the back seat for after baking the car >_>
