1) Step on brake pedal
2) Pull shift lever from "P" to "D"
3) Step on gas
4) Profit?

didnt know your car was an auto... the only thing that keeps throwing me off is you say it keeps jumping to 5-6000 when you punch the gas.... but thats what the car is suppose to do when at WOT lol... now if you mean it goes to those RPMs but isnt moving any faster then just kicks and go then your transmission is slipping and you need to buy a new one or rebuild... (buy a another one)

This is not true... it could be a few other things like a rev. speed sensor, torque convertor which will lead to replacing ur trans,in some cases a bad tcm if completly fried.. any codes? o/d blinking when u start the car? if u expect good answers from the many helpful people on the org.. u need to explain it better.. were not there to physically see this issue so , by saying that we have no clue whats going on.. does the vehicle move at all or is it like its in "n" and only revving?, does it do it when in 1,2,d? od off?? explain ur situation better or! post a viddy .. good luck

since it's reaching 105mph, I'm going to assume the tranny is not slipping (at least not much, unless it's taking you 5 mins to reach 105mph), so my guess would be the solenoids in the tranny's valve body...

My fault yea it will rev up to 5-6000 rpms when i try to accelerates and it won't change gears.......my od light does blink several times what does that mean????? I've changed the speed sensor on top of the tranny .....and the sensor on the driver side but the speedometer not working properly

nothing was wrong... im just saying that there could still be other possibilities rather than a blown trans.. it just seems reading through A/T trans threads lots of people immediatley throw out there that "you need a new trans" when in fact there are alot of other possibilities (sensors, solenoids, valve body). i didnt mean u were wrong by any means, i just meant that there are other possibilities befor coming to a conclusion that a new trans is needed. thats all.

Go out start the car and count the blinks, u will have one long blink followed by short blinks in a certain order ( one long blink followed by 14 short blinks ) thats gunna tell u what sensor/solenoid etc is buggering up.

Post back with the specific order of blinks( write it down so ur 100% correct on the order of long and short blinks) and we can figure this issue out and hopefully correct it!
