Why does the Altima have it and not the Max? Has it been done? Can it be done? Do you think it'll look nice?

don't do it until you go forced-induction. you'll just lose too much backpressure...

Definitely. Unnecessary. Cosmetically cool, financially ridiculous, but horsepowerally wastefull.

i don't think the dual exhaust set-up in Altimas are the true dual exhausts..i doubt it. it's probably just another y-pipe at the end with two mufflers(just like the ones in Accord V6)

nah, i don't think Altima lost 15 ponies from that set-up. well..unless it's a true dual exhaust, then maybe..
i think the hp difference is probably because of using different intake runners and timing. but not sure on these so don't quote me on that.

I've been to 2 reputable shops and when they looked under the car, they said it would be real difficult and $$ to do.

You're right. Someone posted a pic of an Altima on its back ( ) and it was clearly split off the end of the mid pipe into short pipes to the mufflers.

Hey IRvine, lot of mods you have there. How much did you spend? How do you like all your stillen stuff? More specifically,, the intake, RSB, FSTB? Some said the bars are only better looking than ADDCO, Courtesy etc. Another said they are stiffer. What is right?
