whirring/humming noise when clutch is depressed - throw out bearing?
Hey hey! Hoping you guys can help me out. I've noticed that over the past day or so my car has been experiencing a humming/whirring sound when the clutch pedal is pressed all the way to the floor. Only seems to happen in first gear and from a complete standstill. Shifting on the fly is fine, as well as in reverse.
My searches of the symptoms have mostly turned up worn throw out bearings. I wanted to see what you guys had to say before assuming it was one thing over another.
Any and all info you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
