Need a Shift **** for n '02 Max SE Manual

I'd like to use my Momo Shift **** I had in my 1990 240sx in my '02 Max SE. Is there an adapter that would allow larger diameter shift ***** to fit?

What options does a gen 5 Max owner have when replacing their shift ****?

I know how you feel on this. I had a nice leather NISMO **** in my 240sx before I sold it. I kept the shift ****, and brainstormed for hours on end trying to see if I could make it work. I never did figure out a way.

From what I've gathered, the best way to go is stock or other factory Nissan shift **** that will allow for the reverse lockout to clear. The Altima SE-R shift **** will work and has the same shift map, Sentra Spec-V is the same story. There are some places that offer completely custom made shift **** options, but they are a bit on the pricey side. In the end, I didn't have much luck finding a lot of options, and I personally decided on the Altima SE-R ****.

I hope that helps, and let me know if you come across another shift **** option that will work, too, because I still haven't bought a new one as I'm in the process of working on other things on the car first.

OEM. OEM for Nissan at least. You can go with something like TVM but you'll be in it 150 deep with options.

There are some decent options out there from Mazda and Mitsubishi (both have a lot of 10 x 1.25 patterns in OEM sizing) that are weighted and leather.

OEM is nice and not too expensive. I prefer a hardy material.

I didn't like any of the aftermarket options, plus modification is required for the reverse lock-out. I went with the oem, because IMO it is the nicest looking compared to aftermarket and the SER *****, plus no modification necessary.

I like my Blox 490 shift ****, weighted at 490 grams (over a pound). Direct screw on. And since it's a round ball shifter, it might clear the lockout gizmo you 6 speed guys have.

Agreed. I have a black leather Mitsubishi weighted shift ****. The quality of OEM is hard to beat, and it feels great in my larger hands AND the added weight is also pretty nice for smooth shifting. No gear pop-outs or anything (granted I have a 5 speed '01). Threading on the inside of the **** fit my OEM shifter perfect.

Any pics? Or is it just a standard looking black shift **** from the Eclipse? Lol.
