I tried Searching and couldn't find it. I know it's here somewhere because I read it b4 lol. If someone can post a link thatwod be great.


So my 6 speed trans crapped out on me and I picked up a Vlsd from a 03 max.
I just need a quick walk through of the things I need to make it work. I know about the driver side axle, is there more to it?

Come on guys, I keep looking but all I find are sentra LSD swaps.

 

So I gave up and called the dealership! My buddy Chris from Harte Nissan in Hartford CT helped me out.

He looked up the axles for my car with the vin. I then gave him the vin for the car I got the trans from. He said it came from a 03 se'l. Don't know if that titanium Ed or meridian package or both.

He then checked the part number on the axles for that vehicle and it was the same as mine.

I guess my axles will work.

HLSD and yeah it probably came from a ME TE since you're not gonna find it on much else than a TE.

 

The only difference in HLSD / Open diff 6MT trannys is the differential inside of the transmission and how much gear oil they hold.
