2000 model Gen 5 Aussie Springs?

Hi guys,

Just bought a 2000 model maxima here in oz and am wondering, although the american version looks a bit different, wether or not the suspension parts are interchangable?

For example i can order a set of tein springs from the states on ebay cheaper than what i can buy them here becuase of the strong aussie dollar.....BUT...i am unsure wetehr or not they will be the same?

Can anyone help?

Cheers mates......

Ok so it appears that after some research i have discovered that the american Maxima is somewht different to our aussie version.
In fact our Maxima is actually the same as your Infiniy's, and in my case an Infinity I30 2000 model !

So i can now change my question slighly. Does an american 2000 model Maxima share the same suspension springs as an Infinty I30 2000 model ?

an A33 is an A33, chassis components should be the same (dont take that as 100% accurate)

They should be the same though, struts are the same between the Maxima and the I30

The A32 I30 is a 4th gen maxima (model years 96-99)
The A33 I30 is a 5th gen maxima (model years 00-01 IIRC)
The A33 I35 is a 5.5gen maxima (model years 02-04 IIRC)

OP, post a picture of your car
