Installed a 12v power port cover in my '03 from a 2008 Mustang GT. Cheaper than stock plug!

If you do not mind me asking, how did you wire this? The current method I have is unsightly and a slight safety hazard in my opinion.
(I have it wired from the passenger door light into open air at the door hinge, then back into to the car, to a relay where it relays power to another circuit that powers the lights.)

If you do not mind, a simple walk through would probably suffice. Pictures would help me tremendously since I am more visual.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, worthless thread without pics.....

Here is the cool white LED gauge mod....looks worse in pics....for some reason when taking pics that bright spot shows but the light looks evenly distributed.

Here's my gauges. Out of all my little mods this is easily the most appreciated on the day-day basis.

Yea all you have to do is take your time find the wire that comes through the door under the dash that powers up your courtesy lights then bam you got power when you open doors to your led strips. Mine are all white I got one under dash, under seat facing forward, and rearweard towards the back.then a long one under the door to light up the ground. It actually really bright!!

The mureno nozzles have a fan pattern to the spray as opposed to the stream pattern the maximas have.

Now that mod is cheap, but it's not really what I would call "EASY" takes some time to do that and you have to solder and crap. But the rewards are great though!! I still need to do this to my A/C controls. I hate that GREEN LANTERN CRAP....also the ignition switch needs to be changed from that GREEN THROW UP COLOR to blue!!

Mureno... Mmmmh.... Just joking man.

Also, I want that nozzles. I hate how sometimes the nozzles just got something stuck and just got 1 stream of water instead of 2.

My favorite lighting mod is just getting the map lights to come on with the dome light.

I'm an led ***** but seriously enough with all the led lighting talk, there's already a thread for that.

I'd put painting rusty calipers on the list of cheap easy mods.

I completely redid the interior of my truck with LED but haven't started on the Max yet. I'm kind of waiting till I find out how to do it and keep an effective dimmer. I do a lot of night driving and like to have my interior as dark as possible on long trips. was never able to achieve this with the truck. I'm also still in love with the instrument clusters lighting on my friends 91 Max. I may try to duplicate that instead.

I'd also like to swap for some black trim tail lights and remove the pin-stripe. I think I'm going to work towards re-doing the stereo 1st though.

Your truck's dimmer sucked then.

haven't looked that far into it but its something along the lines of the dimmer not limiting the voltage enough to dim the LED's without them going out. it changes a little bit but not much.

Sure, like I said, your trucks dimmer sucks.

The maxima does not have this problem.
