Metal grinding noise when I turn hard right

I bought my 01 SE AE about a month ago. Both front axels were replaced immediately before purchasing. Whenever I turn the wheel all the way to the right and move forward, I hear a loud metal, grinding noise. No other direction causes this noise. Any idea what this could be?

Thanks,
Rob

Have you put the car on jack stands and checked around? Shake the wheel left and right, up and down and see if there is any play. Turn the wheel all the way to the right and move the wheel by hand to see if the sound can be replicated.

Are there any other sounds just before it starts grinding? No popping noises?

My diff failed after a noise like that. I thought it was a control arm at first. GL

its the rotor shield behind the rotor when you turn it rubs on it. all you have to do is push it back with a long screwdriver or anything else try that before you take it to a shop

It ended up being the dust shield/rotor shield. thanks for your help.
