What's a good place to buy wheels online? Also what after market radio will work for the bose factory amplifier? We all know the bose in the 5th gen don't like cdrs.

If you want cookie cutter wheels, any site will do.

If you want wheels that cost a lot or a certain fitment, it might take more research time.

But IMO, wheel fitments are never what we would like when using online sites, so I do a little research on here and other forums, and decideyour own wheel fitments, rather not have some conservative site do that for you.

As for tires, I like tirerack. Many experiences with them in the past, and not one complaint as of yet.

As for radios, oh wait, mine hasn't worked properly since 2005.

Best place for aftermarket radios is Amazon. Bought a Kenwood Excelon X995 deck there for 170 shipped last year for my truck. Can't hardly beat some of the deals that come up on amazon.

Disagree. While Amazon is good, Crutchfield has prices that are similar (@ last in what I was looking at), and Crutchfield gives you all the adapters you will need, free.

Gonna get wheels in person at a local rim shop to be safe, www.crutchfield.com is a better bet for radios.

Any aftermarket radios will work with our factory amp?

Most will, yes. It's a matter of finding the right harness (if you have bose or non-bose factory)

Discount tire and Tire rack are the only online places I buy from.

Most any radio will connect to the Bose amps and sound fine. I've wired mine up a few ways. The best sound and control IMO, is wiring the pre outs to the Bose amp. No converters, no speaker outs.

YOu can certainly find tires cheaper than DIscount but I shop there because the customer service is second to none. They always greet you when you walk in the door and dont automatically try to sell you the most expensive option but if you want high performance most of the employees know their stuff.

I agree with all the info here.

Just one add - when deciding how to wire up your aftermarket radio, please read the "Bose radio replacement thread" in the Audio section. It has all the info you need, and is worth the read to understand how the Bose system works with various input levels.

if you have a bose radio in your car make sure you get a good aftermarket cd player that has at least 4.0V preouts or higher otherwise the sound will be horrible... its always better to feed the factory amp with a good strong signal from your radio if you want to add some quality to your music... I just added a navigation system in my car with 4.0v preouts and the sounds is amazing....

IMO... crutchfield is the best online site for audio , they cust. service is the BEST , buddy of mine brought a radio from there and made a mistake and the service tech stayed on the phone the whole time he install the radio

Since its being discussed here. Your radio will be 4v prepay so the harness you need to install it is Metra 70-7551.

Their warranties are the best too. They are authorized dealer for many manufacturers. Get something from amazon and you are screwed if your stereo brakes in some cases
