2001 with IACV harness problems

My 2001 GLE had had the CES light on for a while now as i chase the problems it has. The car runs great after it warms up (drive for about 5 minutes) but it will not idle without additional foot throttle. The MAF and IACV and Coolant Temperature sensor have been replaced and the dealership has reprogrammed the ECU. They then told me that there was a break in the ground for the IACV somewhere in the main wiring harness. They said this is a common problem and that the main wiring harness needs to be replaced at a cost of 2000$ for the part and labor. My question is, can i just jump a wire from the IACV to a chassis ground? Is there a diagram of that 6 pin pigtail so I can confirm the ground wire?
