sweet body kit for the 5th gen

ok, so I don't come up to your guys board often because I'm a 4th gen and I like them better.
But I saw this Kit, and thought it was sweet. I'm sure you've all seen it 10 trillion times.

I haven't seen it before it looks sweet but I would like the side markers on it. I am sure a body shop could do a cut and pasting not like that but in a way.

it kinda looks like the ninja kit (especially the sides and the rear) but the front looks different to me.

If it's fiberglass, personally I would pass on it, but urethane and they might have a potential buyer. I would just have to be drunk enough to put that rear on there though. That huge circle for the coffee can muffler just makes me sick ...

with these, I drive to slow for potholes to damage them

and usually I don't drive anywhere I don't know. The car is rarely out anymore so I'm careful. But fiberglass kits are just too risky if you ask me. I have a friend with fiberglass skirts and rear panels on his supra and it makes my butthole pucker when it hits anything!

I'm just talking about the MOMO's
I have a set. And I've replaced a set over the year, because the roads in Baltimore are bad, and I kept bending them, and they would straighen them out, then I hit one, and it would crack the lip...so on and so on. Plus they weigh a million pounds, knowing what I know now, would've got SSR's or volks, for the same price, half the weight.

And no I don't drive like a fool, well ok I do, I drive like a drunk, I'm dipping and swerving to miss potholes. I'm really carefull when I'm driving, but sometimes one sneaks up on you and next thing you know your waiting toget your money pits fixed.

guess i've been lucky then. I was out with this one girl and she asked me to drive down this one road. Against my better judgement I did. It was a old country road with no lines and another car come the opposite way. At close to midnight it was either drop the passenger side off the road or lose the fender ... I chose to drop the passenger side. It hit hard! Through mud up all the side of my car, and just pi$$ed me off in general. Needless to say I didn't listen to hear anymore ...

really? the front just looks different to me ... could be the lack of sleep, but

I could tell that the rear and the sides were same. You can see those darn circular indentions in the side (why they are there I don't know) but that makes them pretty distinguishable!

I like the front and sides of the kit. The rear is too chuncky and ricey IMO

I have the side skirts in my basement (along with the STILLEN rear and STILLEN Touring Spoiler) just waiting for the cash for the install.

the rear is nasty IMO. I guess they used my borther's car just to take a few pics of their kits. The car was actully at VIS for installing stillen front and rear, and those sides in the pics.

I like the Ninja front better then the 2k2 front, it just needs fogs and to have the 4th gen clear corners molded in. (photoshop anyone?)

Burners ninja kit was rounder at the front...this kit looks all sharp edged to me or maybe I'm hallucinating..

The rear as usual is ugly as hell to me. The way the bottom edge of the bumper closest to the wheel well comes out looks retarded from a 3/4 view..

Sweet dude! I've got the same kit waiting to be installed in a few weeks. I'm getting it molded.

There are two kits that look extremely similar, but are both basically the same. One is the Kamikaze Ninja Kit, which is illustrated above, the same as MrBurner's, and made in Japan. The second is the Sarona Designs Kit, which is exactly the same, except it doesn't have the two circular indentations on the sideskirts, and is made in the U.S.A. They are both fiberglass and have the exact same front and rear full bumper replacements. Peace.

what do you guys think about the front alone on a 2k1 with no side skirts or rear? kinda like some 4th gens go with the stillen lip and nothing else...

if youre going to get the kit, get the full kit cause i was thinking about a stillen back and ninja everything else. but the stillen isnt as "dramatic" as the ninja so i decided to keep it uniform. the back looks a lot better in person. clee took some pics at woodbury. dont flame me for the "R" emblem..its for Rafin...not racing, not acura none of that http://www.maximaproducts.f2s.com/nemeet/index_7.htm

ok, ok, looking at it again, the front is not that bad. Painted and some fogs, maybe even better, but the back is FUGLY. Makes it worse than the rear already looks!

In your sig it says "currently totalled in my garage"

Is you car wrecked? Show us some pics for the rear and more side shots of the kit.

MAN THAT MAX IS UGLY (the one that this thread was started on)...nothing personal to the owner but the black w/ white body kit w/ tan interior is the worst color combo i've ever seen ...paint it damnit

checkout www.geocities.com/turboburnout and www.geocities.com/turboburnout/bodykitfin/ for pics of my body kit painted and unpainted (during the install)

i didn't like the rear bumper at first but it grew on me (and looks a lot better with a new exhaust and lowered and painted)
