low speed vibration shudder or whatever you wanna call it
Ok so i havent been on the boards in a while but looking to see if someone has any info or other ideas on what may be causing my problem
Whats is happening is a low speed vibration under 30 or so on acceleration. I notice it the most getting into it going straight or coming out of a right turn. I dont really notice it when i turn left. I dont feel it in the steering wheel or pedals. I feel it more like in the seat of my pants, floor board... almost like riding on slightly uneven pavement. If i accelerate slow it will shudder and if i accelerate faster say 1/4 or more throttle it is much more pronounced.
I thought it was the axles since the boots were ripped and replaced them 2 nights ago. Problem still persists to the same degree so i am ruling out that it was the axles. Went under the car yesterday and tightened the engine mounts, strut mounts, frame mounts. All were already tight as crap or could tighten a bit more but that didnt change anything
My thoughts on what it may be:
-I have axis hiro 18 inch rims running hubcentric rings
-Both rear lower control arm bushings have leaked oil
-engine mount bad even tough i tightened them up
-i have a progress rear sway bar (could it cause a vibration) but had it on years before this problem
One thing i was gonna do was swap back to my stock rims and tires to rule out tire or rim imbalance
Any other ideas or sugestions on what to do or what may cause it?
