She will not turn over for me :(

I've seen and read all the NO START thread but I still can't figure out what's causing Ebonee not to start. I have an 01 i30 everything stock. The starter and battery both has been replaced months ago. When I try to start her in cranks but doesn't turn over. A buddy of mine talked to his mechanic and he told me to get some starting fluid and I did car start right up but died afterwards. I reported that to his mechanic and he told me my fuel pump was dead. Has anyone ever experienced this issue? Also I thought the fuel pumps in these cars are for life time? I know you guys get tired of these types of threads but I've literally tired everything I know of.

Do you hear fuel pump working when you first turn key to ACC without starting engine?

^^ this. Check fuel pump fuse and check to see if you hear it priming when you turn the key to the ON position

Also... check your grounds, make sure all is good there. Make sure the security light is not on while you're trying to start it, just to be safe.

The security light doesn't come on while attempting to start it.
As for the ground everything thing looks to be grounded properly.

Sorry for the late replies guys.
I have the fuel pump out and the filter is dirty as heck.
