air intake for 02 maxima

I have an 02 maxima 3.5 v6. Want to do some performance things and started to look at air intakes. Looking for performance and look and like the inline/internal filter style, sorta like the spectre brand and haven't been lucky yet. Any help?

Air intakes have been beaten to death. Use the search function and you will find what you are looking for.

GAB intake mod = cheap, dyno-proven performance. With a name like "Ghetto airbox" don't expect it to look flashy.

JWT-style pop charger looks better than---^

Injen intake looks/sounds good, flawed design in placing the intake filter behind the hotass radiator.

Also, use the searchbar up top to find questions that've prolly been asked before. A 1/4 mill members and a 10+ year old site means 99% of your questions have been asked (and answered) before. Welcome to the .org! Good choice on an 02

Had a Injen on 03 Nice sound, performance butt dyno said it added a little, ride got totaled got a 02 and got the JWT Popcharger, with stock piping not bad and good price... got mine from here....

GAB: best DD mod, smooth power band, slight low end loss and high end gain, best midrange

JWT: right in the middle of both of these

Injen: better at going fast if you're mashing the gas, drop in low end power, decent gain in upper midrange, best in top end

^^ better than all 3 put together, built, tested, race-proven. I'd consider shipping this, only one setup available and just went up for sale
