Hey all Just recently became a maxima owner and new forum member. I was trying to find a new member section lol but unless i overlooked it (highly possibly my apologies in advance). i just picked up an 2000 maxima gle, auto tranny, 183k miles. any heads up for quirks and common problems with these cars.

 

There is a newbie thread but welcome to the org. I got an 02 but your motor doesn't burn oil. just start searching bud

 

thats always a plus, and i figured i did :/ im sorry. the only problem that i currently have i have the auto climate control and it currently dosent work i researched it and people say it uses an amplifer to turn the blower motor on? my question is how do i replace it i couldnt find a diagram

Welcome.
I also have a '00 GLE, I also bought it with high mileage. My biggest issue was the suspension, but that's all taken care of now. Unfortunately, I can't help you with the climate control issue. Do a search (or several), there's a looot of info here. Some of these guys know nore than the manufacturer! Good luck!
