Looking to replace left rear speaker on 02 Max GLE w/Bose amp. Would like to keep it Bose as it seems to be a bear otherwise. My spkr is Bose 281556P100, will later model speakers work? Ebay has some which appear similar from later models. Is there some cross reference to let me know which speakers are compatible? Many thx in advance!

Flojr, Use the numbers on the back of the Bose speaker as your guide. I replaced a right rear speaker on my 2001 Maxima recently. I found one on ebay from a Infiniti I35 with the exact numbers. My rear speakers run @ 2.5 Ohms but the amp that dives them is on the parcel shelf. I could mot find any cross reference on the speakers and Bose contact was not real helpful. Try Ebay as well as what was already mentioned. I paid $40 for the replacement and I have not had any problems.
