no search on phone. need help

I know this has got to have been covered before but the app on my phone doesn't let me search. I bought my 02 SE a few months ago and it currently reads about 180k miles. I have done a couple oil changes using a synthetic oil (valvoline I think). I have no Idea what the P.O. used. I have noticed that about 4 times now that if the car sits for any more than several hours (overnight) it seems to have some excessive engine noise upon start-up and the oil light tends to flicker for a few seconds before going out. I am wondering if there is a Specific type of oil & filter I should be using to help guard against this, or if it may be a symptom of some other problem. Does the Maxima require a Specific filter that prevents oil from draining back to the pan when parked? Should I continue running the recommended 5w30 with my high mileage or is it time to move to something else? thanks in advance for any help y'all can provide with something I'm sure you've answered before.

I think you're low on oil.

It could be a bad oil filter. They are supposed to stay full when the engine is not running but sometimes the back flow valve doesn't work. If the oil leaks out, it will take a few seconds to fill it again when the engine is started.

That's kinda what I was thinking too Dennis. I found my bottle from thru last change so now I know I'm running Mobile-1: 10w40 high mileage and a Mobil-1 filter
