Installed ES Shifter bushings

Installed the ES shifter bushings for my 02' and boy is it tight, I mean the shifting Well I'm headed out to Ace hardware to get a 10mm lock tight nut since I used the original nut and I think its too tight. Its hard to shift right now, I am using soo much force to move it into any gear, and getting it in reverse is a pain in the ***. So I hope getting the lock tight nut and leaving it a tad loose will help with shifting.

I used the original nut + loctite and it has served me well for two years.

Install went slow but good, took me about an hour.. Did you guys leave the nut under the shifter column a little loose or is it tight? Do you think it will help loosened?

I made it snug but didn't tighten it. I think the linkage will bind if it's too tight.

Yeah the linkage was binding making it hard to shift. I installed the lock tight nut and left a small gap on the left side of the bushing to give it a little room.. It feels alot better than before,
