Auto up window

Looks like my automatic up window on the drivers side window went out this morning on my 02...I only have like 6500 miles on it and I am not a happy camper about it either.
I was wandering if when I call the dealer to take it in if they are gonna give me a loaner to driver since it is under warranty (and had better be anyway) or if I am SOL??
Also anybody have any other opionions on it??
Thanks
~B

The same thing happened to me on all my windows this morning, but it was just ice. Once the car warmed up, it was fine. So if it's cold where you are, let your car warm up a little and try again.

It's still annoying though.

You don't have an Infiniti.

Yep it's under warranty, nope you will not get a loaner unless you have a great relationship with your dealer, if so you might be able to set it up if you call in advance.

Seems the only time Nissan will give you a loaner is if they fix the window the first time, and the window breaks for the same reason again. Then they will give you a loaner car, but you have to take your car to the same service dept. That repaired the fix the first time.

Don't worry though Acura dealerships don't give their customers loaners either (asked when I looked at the CL/S)

Everything is under warranty until 12k, most other things until 36k (brakes, etc), and the engine/transmission until 60k. Take it in and get it fixed on Nissan

i don't think they'll give you a loaner for a broken power window switch/motor. they'll give you a ride home in their QUEST tho..

I had to run out and tried it again after awhile and it worked this time...It was only the driver window this morning becuase I made sure to try the passenger one too. I guess I will let it slide since it was d@mn cold out this morning. Thanks for that tidbit.

I thought bumper to bumper warranty was 36K? In fact that's one of the reasons I bought the car.

Don't worry nissan has bumper-to-bumper for the first 3yrs or 36,000miles. Maybe honda hs the 12K, 36K, 60K thing.

u got it backwards..the some part of the brake will be covered for 12 months or 12,000miles, and the rest of the car will be covered for 36 months or 36,000miles, whichever comes first. the powertrain is covered for 60 months, or 60,000miles. all of the above unless you got the security plus plans..which extends your warranty to 10 years 100,000miles.

remember tho..wear and tear items are not covered by the warranty...such as brakes, clutch wear, tires, etc...
