Ive been using the search button alot but couldnt find the answer to this question

just wanted to know if i buy everything made for my car(cylinder, clutch, shifter..etc) then buy a 5 speed transmission from a 1995 - 1999 maxima will there be any problems i should know about?... would i need to buy 1995-1999 axles maxima ?

I can give you some clues about that swap:

1- Get a 6 speed MT with LSD (Limited Slip Differential). It's the best choice.
2- No, you don't need to mess with the ECU or the AT module. You will need to keep the PNP switch. It will be a nice decoration in your engine bay.
3- Yes, you will need different axles for that swap.
4- You will need to install the clutch pedal. Not a big deal because the body of your car got the preparations for that.
5- Yes, you will need to change part of the center console for the MT shifter. And the work for change the AT shifter to MT shifter it's a little PITA. And try to get a short shifter and ES bushings.

yeah ive been searching for months now for the 5 speed lsd rare. seem like u have experience u did a swap already?
will i be able to run my car as hard as a car that was built manual?
