I have a 2002 Maxima and I had a post earlier

http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...le-issues.html

Thanks to the help of people on this forum, I bought a cam position sensor for and it fixed the problem. Today I drove the car and it seems to have gone back into limp. Oddly now it's a hard stop at 3K RPM like a rev limiter, where as before the tac would bobble up and down hard at 2.3-2.5K.

The only difference today is the weather hit the 50's (previously I was driving around the 70's 80's).

I'll go check again for codes but I'm beginning to want to ditch this car.
