Need guidance, tired of lacking power on 2k I30

Ok, I have had my 2k I30 since 09, prior I had a 97 I30 (liked it so much I decided to buy the 2k)

when I bought it I felt it had ample pickup and looked sharp for business purposes. I eventually got the P1320 (2010) then replaced the rear coils with grey dot coils (front were replaced under warranty by the Sewell dealership prior to purchase with verifiable record from the dealer, all three also grey dot) .

Today I still have lagging power,

Mods include:

Y pipe, UR UDP, PR style CAI (with proper in fender cutout and install), and cali to fed front mani swap. I give this background because I feel the car should be running stronger today than when purchased but in fact I think it ran better at purchase and it used to get 420 miles per 15.3 gl fill up versus 320 miles per tank fill up of the same 15.x gal.

at this point i'm looking for ideas to get her back running well. I can say that I felt disappointed with the y pipe install and UDP which I did at the same time which led to the PR style CAI install but still no power to speak of.
Guys at this point I'm either going to figure out how to fix it in the next 6 months or I'm just going to try and sell it and get a boring DD with zero mods

Please post ideas

My car was lagging power too when i got it and my mechanic threw it some new knock sensors, y pipe, and a good tune up and it was like night and day. Maybe your knock sensors are the problem. Might want to have them checked. Just my opinion

I'll look into that, any other ideas? I think from other posts my MAF may be a next step but no code for MAF

It wouldnt hurt. I would check the knock sensors for sure and maybe new plugs wires and a good tune up.

Maf is a good bet. I've been meaning to write a little bit about it, but hadn't had a chance. I can say this, I did a little experimenting by changing out 3 different used mafs in my '00 max, and each one would pop different codes, none of which were for the maf. With one maf I would get crappy response, with so-so power and a P0170, P0171 and/orP0172. With the other one, crappy throttle response, P0420 and P0430. The last one, gave me good pep, but not so great gas mileage and P0420 and P0430. So, what I'm saying is that mafs are deceptive, crafty little buggers, and for the price and benefits of a new one, it's kinda best to start with getting a new maf. Mebbe 02 sensors after that. You have to remember that the way these engines work, the code given isn't always directly related. Stupid as it sounds, idle relearns are magic!

Just to confirm, this is the correct part right?

Thanks for the input guys. symptoms include studdering and hesitation at takeoff, poor acceleration and poor gas mileage plus a general lack of overall power
